Kaopua Nani O Sutton, a resident of Hilo, Hawaii, is a member of the Carleton College women's indoor track and field team for the 2014 season. Sutton is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools Hawaii and is currently a senior at Carleton.

Carleton is coached by Donna Ricks, who is in her 20th season as the Knights' head coach. Carleton is a member of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) and NCAA Division III. Last season, eleven Knights earned All-MIAC honors, including two individual titles.
